Samsung has officially launched its Galaxy S26 Ultra, introducing a new Display Privacy feature designed to enhance user confidentiality. The base model, equipped with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage, is priced at 1,450 euros in Europe.
The device is powered exclusively by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset from Qualcomm, built on a 2nm process. While an Exynos 2600 alternative was considered for European markets, it remains limited to smaller variants of the lineup.
Charging capabilities have been upgraded, with wired fast charging now reaching 60W and wireless charging support increased to 25W—up from previous 45W and 15W levels, respectively. Samsung notes this improvement, though it acknowledges the technology still lags behind certain competing Android flagships.
Camera enhancements focus on improved light capture without altering sensor specifications. The company also highlighted the broader accessory ecosystem, including protective cases and covers tailored for the new models.
Alongside the smartphone launch, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Buds 4 and Buds 4 Pro, expanding its audio wearable lineup.
