The new devices boast powerful processors and impressive battery capabilities, signaling a push for enhanced performance and user experience in the mid-range smartphone market.

The Redmi Turbo 5 is the world’s first smartphone powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500-Ultra chipset, according to reports. It also packs a substantial 5,000mAh battery with support for 100W fast charging. The Redmi Turbo 5 Max takes performance a step further, equipped with the Dimensity 9500s processor and a long-lasting battery.

Notably, Xiaomi also introduced a smartphone with a massive 9,000 mAh battery, though it comes with a price tag exceeding 9 million Vietnamese Dong. This device demonstrates the company’s exploration of extended battery life as a key differentiator.

The Redmi Turbo 5 Max is designed to deliver stable gaming performance at 120 FPS, thanks to the Dimensity 9500s chip. The Poco X8 Pro Max will also feature the new Dimensity 9500 chipset, further expanding its availability across Xiaomi’s product portfolio.
