We were leading throughout the set, it was 21-18, we had a counterattack on our side and then something started to fall apart. We even had a set point, but we didn’t take our chances. We invited Zawiercie back into the game and that’s why we lost. I don’t think we played very badly, but we didn’t play exceptionally either– the Asseco Resovia player assessed.

The fourth set also didn’t start well for Massimo Bottiego’s team. -It’s a shame we couldn’t close out the third set. We started the fourth 1-6 down and it was very difficult to recover. We played a little better later, but it was too late to make up the deficit– Szalpuk added.
