Romelio Martínez Stadium will see an increased capacity starting this Thursday, when Junior hosts Alianza Valledupar for the tenth matchday of the Colombian League, following the installation of aluminum grandstands in the south and west sectors of the stadium on Calle 72.
With this addition, Romelio will increase its capacity by 2,500 spectators, bringing the total to 10,000.
The operate is being carried out by two companies with experience in setting up temporary structures at the Carnival and other events in cities like the Vallenato Festival.
Junior is preparing for three consecutive home matches: against Alianza (March 5), Nacional (March 10), and Fortaleza (March 15). These games are crucial as Junior aims to solidify their position in the league standings.
For their Copa Libertadores matches, Junior will play at the Jaime Morón Stadium in Cartagena.
