Botafogo has announced its squad list for Tuesday’s, March 3rd, clash against Barcelona-EQU in Guayaquil, Ecuador, for the third preliminary round of the Copa Libertadores. Striker Artur has been left off the roster, though the club has not disclosed a reason for his absence.
Neto is again absent from the travel party, while goalkeepers Léo Linck, Raul, and Cristhian Loor have been included. Compared to the return leg against Nacional Potosí, Gabriel Abdias and Caio Valle have been added to the squad, replacing Jhoan Hernández.
Wallace Davi, ineligible for Campeonato Carioca matches, will make the trip to Ecuador. Edenílson, who featured against Boavista last Saturday, was not registered for this stage of the Libertadores and will only be eligible in the group stage should Botafogo advance – as is the case with Cristian Medina.
Kaio Pantaleão, Marçal, Allan, Santiago Rodríguez, and Chris Ramos remain sidelined due to injury.
