Cairo – Filmmaker Mohamed Salah El-Azab is generating buzz for his upcoming thriller, “The Aggregation Killer,” slated for release in cinemas soon. The film, starring Ahmed El-Fishawy, is already sparking conversation as it prepares to compete for viewership during the 2026 Ramadan season, a peak time for entertainment in the Arab world.

El-Azab has been actively promoting “The Aggregation Killer” on social media, recently sharing a behind-the-scenes image from the set on Facebook. The photo features a foot adorned with a tattoo reading “Family Comes First.” “The countdown has begun for the release of ‘The Aggregation Killer’ in cinemas. Are you ready?” El-Azab wrote alongside the image.

The film centers around Karim, a serial killer who grew up isolated and searches for meaning by rebelling against his family. His life takes a turn when he enters a relationship with a beautiful woman, leading him down a dark path of violence against multiple women. The cast also includes Sabreen, Faten Saeed, and Aya Slim.

According to reports, El-Azab is confident in the film’s potential success, stating, “The highest grossing is on its way, God willing and with His power.” He also extended a message of respect to fellow filmmakers like Mohamed Samy, Mona Lisa, Amr Saad, and Yasmine Abdel Aziz, while playfully asserting his film’s ambition to top the box office charts.

El-Azab is also juggling another project, the series “The King,” starring Mohamed Emam, which is set to air during Ramadan 2026, as Masrawy reported.

“The Aggregation Killer” marks El-Azab’s directorial debut. The project was initially announced in July 2025, with producer Ahmed El-Sobky collaborating on the film. El-Azab expressed gratitude for the support he’s received, encouraging fans to send positive vibes for the film’s success.
