Finding wireless keyboards – and especially slim models like the Slim EX1 and Slim EX3 – with easily swapped batteries is becoming increasingly difficult. Satechi says users can access the lithium battery by simply removing screws on the back of the device and sliding open a maintenance door. This design choice addresses the common issue of keyboard battery degradation over time, offering a sustainable alternative to replacing the entire unit.
Beyond the battery innovation, both keyboards automatically remap keys for compatibility with Mac or Windows operating systems. They can also connect to up to four devices, including those running Android or iPadOS, streamlining workflows across multiple platforms.
