Images of Diogo growing closer to Ariana – while in a relationship with Eva within the game – have sparked strong reactions, particularly from those familiar with the show’s participants.
The situation escalated after an exclusive interview with reporter Carolina Steffensen, where friends of Eva expressed their concern and frustration.
Diogo has maintained that his closeness with Ariana is a strategic move: to protect his girlfriend’s secret and mislead fellow contestants. But, those watching from outside the game aren’t entirely convinced.

On the March 19th Special of Secret Story 10, Cristina Ferreira spoke privately with Eva, after showing her some controversial footage of Diogo with Ariana. In the confessional, Cristina Ferreira questioned Eva: «Do you really think Diogo can’t get out of this (situation with Ariana), or doesn’t want to get out of it?»
Eva responded without hesitation: «I think it’s a mix of both…». The host pressed the contestant about whether she has any doubts about Diogo’s feelings. «Do you have any doubts about Diogo’s feelings? What leads you to trust him so blindly?» she asked.
«I trust him. We know what we went through before coming here, everything that’s happening is agreed upon by both of us…», Eva replied.
Cristina Ferreira wasn’t convinced by the response and reiterated: «Eva, I’ve told you several times to get Diogo to step away, I’ve told you not to be in this situation with Ariana again, I’ve told you several times that he’s crossing the line. What is Diogo doing?»
And Eva retorted: «I know… however, I think it might be time for him to seize a step back so he doesn’t hurt the other side. I agree with the game that’s being played…»
Cristina Ferreira Questions Eva: “Aren’t you afraid that time and proximity will create him feel other things?”
In the footage, we see Eva talking to Diogo and expressing concern about Ariana’s feelings when she finds out they are a couple.
For Cristina Ferreira, there’s more cause for concern. «Ariana said she thought Diogo was falling for her. Diogo confirms to her, in fact, that he has a special affection for Ariana. Aren’t you afraid that time and proximity will make him feel other things?» she asked.
«No, I’m not. I say with certainty, I trust Diogo. I cry, but I cry when I’m stressed. This is intense and you demand a strong stomach,» Eva affirmed.
