The Caribbean Professional Baseball Confederation (CBPC) announced on Saturday, December 27, the official schedule for the 2026 Serie del Caribe Jalisco, with a notable absence: Venezuela will not be participating.
The tournament is set to run from February 1 to 7 of next year at the Estadio Panamericano, and will feature teams from Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Panama, and two Mexican squads.
Mexico secured the hosting rights after three members of the Confederation declined to participate in the event in Venezuela. As a result, Venezuela has been excluded from the competition, and a second Mexican team will take its place. Mexico will be represented by its champion (Mexico Rojo) and runner-up (Mexico Verde) from the Liga ARCO Mexicana del Pacífico.

Preliminary Round Schedule
The tournament will begin with a round-robin format, featuring two games each day. According to the CBPC and the Jalisco 2026 Organizing Committee, the schedule is as follows:
Monday, February 2: Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic will kick off the tournament. Later, Mexico Rojo will face Panama. (Mexico Verde has a bye).
Tuesday, February 3: Panama takes on Mexico Verde in the first game. Mexico Rojo and Puerto Rico will play in the second. (The Dominican Republic has a bye).
Wednesday, February 4: Panama will play against the Dominican Republic. Following that, a local showdown between Mexico Verde and Mexico Rojo. (Puerto Rico has a bye).
Thursday, February 5: Puerto Rico opens against Panama, and the Dominican Republic closes against Mexico Verde. (Mexico Rojo has a bye).
Semifinals
The semifinal round is scheduled for Friday, February 6. The order of the games will depend on the standings of the Mexican representatives; if they advance, the local team will play in the final game of the day. Should both Mexican teams qualify and face each other, the game will also be scheduled for the night slot.
The Championship Game
The championship game will take place on Saturday, February 7. All games will be played at the Estadio Panamericano of the Charros de Jalisco, a venue with a capacity of 16,500 fans, ready to welcome the four participating countries.
