Sheikh Maktoum Thanks Khalid Al Bustani, Welcomes Abdulaziz Al Mulla at FTA

Dubai’s Deputy Ruler Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has expressed gratitude to Khalid Al Bustani for his 45 years of service to the United Arab Emirates federal government. The recognition comes as Al Bustani concludes his tenure as Director General of the Federal Tax Authority.

Sheikh Maktoum announced his appreciation on his official X account, stating, “My sincere thanks and appreciation to my brother Khalid Al Bustani for his national career full of operate, dedication, and achievement over 45 years in federal service, during which he contributed to establishing a pioneering tax system through his management of the Federal Tax Authority since its inception. We value his efforts and loyalty to the nation and wish him success in a new phase of his life.”

The Deputy Ruler also extended his best wishes to Abdulaziz Al Mulla as he assumes the role of Director General of the Federal Tax Authority. “We wish my brother Abdulaziz Al Mulla success in his new responsibilities as Director General of the Authority, as he has a significant responsibility in consolidating the leadership of the tax system in the UAE and ensuring its excellence,” Sheikh Maktoum wrote.

Concluding his message, Sheikh Maktoum emphasized the UAE’s continued success, driven by its leadership and the empowerment of its citizens. “The journey of achievements continues in the UAE with the vision of its leaders and through empowering the competencies of the nation’s sons and daughters in all fields. Loyalty and gratitude remain for everyone who has given, dedicated, strived, and preserved trust.”
