LONDON. Singer Ross Davidson, 37, has been found guilty of rape in London, with additional convictions for attempted rape and sexual assault in Thailand. The verdict was delivered Wednesday at Wood Green Crown Court.
According to reports from January 28, 2026, a jury determined that Davidson, who also performs as Ross Wild, raped a woman in London and sexually assaulted another woman in Thailand. The case marks the latest legal challenge for the musician, whose career has spanned several years.
Davidson, a resident of Finchley, North London, and originally from Aberdeen, maintained his innocence throughout the trial, arguing that all encounters were consensual.
Allegations Dating Back to 2015
The London assault reportedly occurred in March 2015. The victim testified that she fell asleep in bed and was then subjected to sexual abuse without her consent.
The prosecution presented evidence suggesting Davidson allegedly used sexual accessories to restrain the woman at times, claims he denied.
Evidence from Mobile Phone Discovery
The second case centers around an incident in Thailand in December 2019. Davidson is accused of attempting to force a woman into sexual activity in a hotel room and of sexually touching her against her will.
A key piece of evidence in the investigation was a video discovered on his mobile phone, appearing to show the woman while she was asleep. Davidson had previously pleaded guilty to voyeurism related to this footage.
Previous Legal Proceedings in the UK
Davidson has faced prior legal action in the United Kingdom concerning sexual offenses, resulting in a conviction in London in 2024.
Following the current guilty verdict, sentencing will be determined in a subsequent hearing. Davidson remains in custody pending that process.
