CNN  —

The event formerly known as the SAG Awards took place on Sunday, setting the stage for a nail-biting finish at the Academy Awards on March 15.

Sinners” was the massive winner of the night, taking home two of the top honors. Michael B. Jordan earned the award for outstanding performance by a male actor in a leading role for his dual performance as twins. The critically acclaimed vampire-period hybrid, directed by Ryan Coogler, too won for its ensemble cast, with a passionate acceptance speech from supporting actor nominee Delroy Lindo.

In the television categories, Apple TV’s awards favorite, “The Studio,” led nominations with five mentions, including nods for its star and creator Seth Rogen, alongside Kathryn Hahn, Ike Barinholtz (also known as Sal Saperstein), and the late, beloved Catherine O’Hara.

Rogen, who had already won the award for outstanding performance by a male actor in a comedy series earlier in the evening, returned to the stage to accept the award for outstanding performance by a female actor in a comedy series, honoring his late “The Studio” co-star, O’Hara.

“Something I’ve been admiring these past few weeks,” Rogen said while accepting the award on behalf of O’Hara, who died in January, “was her ability to be generous, kind, and graceful without ever diminishing her own talents and her own ability to contribute to the work that we were doing.”

“She really showed that you can be a genius and be kind, and that one doesn’t have to come at the expense of the other in any way,” he added.

“The Studio” also won the award for outstanding performance by an ensemble in a comedy series, while “The Pitt” was another big winner, securing three statuettes in the drama categories, including the award for outstanding performance by an ensemble.

The Actor Awards also presented a lifetime achievement award to Harrison Ford, star of “Indiana Jones” and “Shrinking,” presented by Woody Harrelson.
