Sisi’s Strong Messages at Armed Forces Iftar: Editor’s Perspective

The editor-in-chief of *Al Youm Al Sabea* newspaper, expressed his pride and appreciation for attending the annual Armed Forces Iftar banquet with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. He affirmed that the event was marked by dignity and underscored the importance of “a state of institutions.”

Through his personal Facebook account, the editor-in-chief described the banquet as imbued with a purely national atmosphere, filled only with the sincere affection for the homeland and a deep appreciation for the sacrifices of those who dedicate themselves to protecting Egypt. He noted the event embodied the bonds of brotherhood and respect between the leadership and the armed forces.

The editor-in-chief characterized President Sisi’s remarks during the gathering as powerful and direct, addressing issues with complete clarity. He specifically highlighted the President’s message to the Egyptian people, stating: “Rest assured about Egypt, everything is good, thanks be to God… thanks be to God… thanks be to God, no one will be able to approach this country.” This statement underscores the administration’s confidence in Egypt’s stability and security.

 

The editor-in-chief also noted that success in Egypt is built on two fundamental pillars: stability and steadfastness, attributing this achievement first to God and then to the Egyptian people. He emphasized the importance of continued unity between the state and its citizens, a sentiment echoed by the President, who said: “We feel you and are making every effort to improve conditions.”

The editor-in-chief concluded that he left the esteemed gathering with a profound sense of pride and confidence in Egypt’s national institutions and their ability to navigate the future. He closed with a patriotic sentiment: “Long live Egypt.”
