St. Martin an der Raab saw its Martinihalle filled to capacity Sunday as the Catholic Women’s Movement hosted a Lenten soup supper to benefit a charitable cause. The event, which drew a large crowd, underscores the community’s commitment to supporting those in necessitate.
The event began with a church service led by Dechant Martin-Ralph Kalu, featuring participation from First Communion students, confirmation candidates, and other young people from the parish. Following the service, attendees enjoyed a communal soup meal with a unique fundraising twist: “Eat soup, pay for schnitzel.”
