Czech musician Barbara Kanyzová has publicly confirmed her relationship with actor and comedian Štěpán Kozub, sharing a heartfelt message on Instagram. The post, filled with personal photos and videos, reveals a blossoming romance that’s already captured the attention of fans.
Kanyzová’s post included a touching tribute to Kozub, writing, “With you, our life is full of new paths and gorgeous places… only with you do I understand how strong and special the bond between a father and daughter can be.” She continued, “With you, life is much tastier and a little more joyful. I greatly admire how diligently, persistently, and resolutely you manage to give so much joy and a piece of yourself to the world. I love you.”
The couple’s connection reportedly extends back several years, as Kanyzová previously joined Kozub onstage during a performance at the O2 Arena. Photos and videos accompanying the Instagram post suggest the relationship is well-established, including moments with Kozub’s six-year-old daughter, Anežka, and his dog.

Both Kanyzová and Kozub hail from Ostrava, Czech Republic. Kanyzová spent time as a street musician in Berlin before returning to her hometown. Her vocals also feature on music created by Kozub and his collaborator, Jiří Krhut.
