Susana Roccasalvo explained the circumstances surrounding the finale of “MasterChef Celebrity,” revealing that a labor strike impacted the original schedule. Roccasalvo shared her account on February 23, after missing her usual hosting duties on “Implacables” to participate in the final recording.
“I’m going to explain what happened,” the host began, “the finale of MasterChef was disrupted by the strike on Thursday. If other issues were resolved, that’s another matter, because the idea was to film all day Friday and culminate with a party that night. But because of what happened, the recording had to be moved to Saturday, so the party took place before the finale was filmed.”
“It was truly beautiful, I danced with colleagues, and the entire technical crew, who are fantastic,” Roccasalvo continued. “We had a really great time, everyone enjoyed themselves immensely, and the next day they looked exhausted…but, well.” Despite the scheduling changes, Roccasalvo assured viewers that “MasterChef” will continue, hinting at surprises to come. “Even though the filming was completed, there’s still a lot of MasterChef to come! And be careful, because starting now there’s going to be a twist, I consider you’ll be as surprised as we were.”
