Tadeáš Růžička was on track for a lucrative showdown with Sivák, but that highly anticipated fight will have to wait. Růžička faced legal troubles that ultimately led to his imprisonment. However, he has now been released after serving a surprisingly short sentence.

Růžička began his sentence in the middle of 2024 following a series of incidents. Many will remember his disruptive behavior at a public swimming pool and other issues that led to his arrest and incarceration. But his time behind bars is now complete. He’s a free man and appears to have kept busy during his confinement. Promoter Pavel Novotný, who reportedly spent some time with the Czech fighter, stated that Růžička maintained his training regimen while incarcerated. Tadeáš has visibly gained weight, so it remains to be seen in which weight class he will compete next. It’s clear that at least the Clash promotion will be quick to offer him a fight, and other organizations like RFA could also reach calling.
