Patrice Takes 20 Pills Every Morning

“As a palliative care patient, the focus isn’t on a cure, but on extending life. I can’t live without medication, I can’t go a morning without swallowing 20 pills – with all the side effects and interactions that come with them,” Aminati explained to host Rebecca Mir during the RTL interview. She emphasized the severity of those side effects, recalling a particularly harrowing bout of peritonitis that threatened to perforate her intestinal wall. “The pain was indescribable.”
