The Local Store in Skellefteå is preparing for a busy season,hosting its first major event in seven years alongside a week-long Black Friday promotion. The retailer is anticipating high attendance at a party coinciding with a Skellefteå AIK hockey game, with roughly 400 tickets already sold. “We’ve booked the entire sports bar as well, and I can promise a fantastic atmosphere at the Arena,” said Johnny Hedlund, referring to the upcoming hockey match between Skellefteå AIK and Leksand.
The festivities will continue at Folkparken with live music from Hat Over Hills and a DJ. The event will feature a festival theme, with long tables borrowed from a recent festival and drinks initially served in plastic cups, transitioning to a traditional nightclub atmosphere from 8:00 PM to 2:00 AM.
