The story so far

Fans are tracking a fluctuating offensive performance as the Vikings’ quarterback battle intensifies on day two of camp. McCarthy reports building individual momentum, the broader offensive output has been characterized as a mixed bag. Kyler Murray has drawn attention for strong play, providing a counterpoint to some struggles observed during team drills with the first-string unit.

These developments occur alongside appearances by Cris Carter and Larry Fitzgerald, who were present for team observations. Yahoo Sports, Daily Norseman, and juddzulgad.substack.com note that the team continues to cycle through different signal-callers to evaluate the depth chart. Official club observations focus on receiver performance during these sessions.

The primary unknown is how the coaching staff will weigh these alternating periods of struggle and success when determining the depth chart hierarchy as the preseason progresses.
