The exterior of the building will feature stacked, cantilevered bands explicitly inspired by the historic architecture of the original Spectrum, bridging decades of local sports history with a contemporary structure. Furthermore, the design incorporates expansive outdoor fan plazas and an arrival stairway modeled after the iconic steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, alongside planned restaurant pavilions designed to elevate the overall visitor experience.

Beyond its architectural footprint, the development represents a massive financial undertaking for the region. Organizers report that the complex will stand as the largest fully privately funded development in the history of Philadelphia. Projections released by project officials indicate that the construction and subsequent operations will generate nearly 15,000 jobs and inject roughly $6 billion in economic activity over the decade following its opening, providing a direct financial boost to both the municipal government and the School District of Philadelphia through new tax revenue.

The venture also cements a powerful strategic partnership between Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment and Comcast Corporation, tying the future of multiple major franchises to a single shared ecosystem. Comcast will retain the naming rights for the complex, with a formal moniker to be revealed at a later date. While the teams have gathered extensive public feedback through focus groups and surveys to mold the current blueprints, several operational milestones remain undefined.
