A widespread Russian aerial assault targeting multiple Ukrainian cities overnight has resulted in dozens of injuries adn meaningful damage to critical infrastructure. A large-scale drone and missile attack across Ukraine overnight has left dozens injured and caused widespread damage to infrastructure, officials reported. The heaviest damage was reported in Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second-largest city, where 46 people were injured, including two girls, ages nine and thirteen. The Lviv region also saw damage to an energy facility, along with a woodworking enterprise and a warehouse.

In the Cherkasy region, power lines and other civilian infrastructure were damaged.

Power outages were reported in numerous locations throughout Ukraine following the attacks. The disruption to essential services highlights the vulnerability of Ukraine’s infrastructure to continued Russian strikes.

Russian forces launched the massive drone and missile attack overnight, prompting the nationwide air raid sirens.
