งานวิจัยไทยด้าน antibody-nanoparticle technology for dengue treatment has been selected under the UNESCO’s International Decade of Sciences for Sustainable Development framework. This recognition highlights Thailand’s growing role in advancing scientific knowledge to address global health challenges, particularly those impacting tropical regions.
On February 25, 2026, it was announced that a Thai research project developing nanoparticle technology to deliver antibodies for the treatment of dengue fever has been chosen under the UNESCO’s International Decade of Sciences for Sustainable Development. The project focuses on innovative approaches to combatting a disease that poses a significant public health threat worldwide.
The research, which utilizes antibody-nanoparticle technology, aims to improve treatment outcomes for dengue fever. This selection by UNESCO underscores the potential of this technology to contribute to sustainable development goals related to health and well-being. The findings could lead to more effective and accessible treatments for dengue fever, benefiting communities at risk.
According to the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), the project was selected within the framework of the International Decade of Sciences for Sustainable Development.
