New Google One Subscription Offers Access to Gemini Pro

Google One is rolling out updated subscription plans that include access to Gemini Pro, Google’s advanced AI model. The move comes as tech companies increasingly integrate AI features into their existing services, offering users enhanced capabilities.
The basic Google One plan, priced at $1.99 per month, offers 100 GB of storage and is recommended for users needing more space for Google Photos, Drive and Gmail. The Premium plan, available for $9.99 per month, provides 2 TB of storage and access to new features, including the Gemini app with Gemini Pro and limited access to Veo 3.1.
For power users, the Google AI Pro plan is available for $19.99 per month. This tier includes 2 TB of storage, Google Home Premium Standard, the Gemini app with Gemini Pro and limited access to Veo 3.1, Flow with higher access to Veo 3.1, Whisk with Veo 3, 1,000 monthly AI credits, NotebookLM with higher access, and Gemini integration in Gmail, Docs, Vids, and more. All plans allow storage sharing with up to five others.
Students may be eligible for a 12-month Google AI Pro student trial at no cost, after verifying their status through SheerID. Eligible students must be at least 18 years old, enrolled at an eligible higher education institution, and a resident in a participating country or region. All Google accounts currently receive 15 GB of free storage, which is included in the total storage offered by the Google One plans. Users can cancel their subscriptions at any time.
