The U.S. State Department has urged American citizens to immediately depart from 14 countries in the Middle East, signaling a significant escalation in regional tensions following recent U.S.-Israeli strikes against Iran. The move reflects growing concerns about the safety of U.S. Nationals amid escalating conflict.

“Depart now,” the State Department stated in a message posted on X.

The advisory includes Iran, Israel and several other nations in the region: Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, the United Arab Emirates, Iraq, and Yemen. The State Department is advising Americans to leave using commercial transportation.

Drone Attack Targets U.S. Embassy in Riyadh

A drone attack on the U.S. Embassy in the Saudi Arabian capital of Riyadh caused a small fire and property damage early Tuesday morning, according to the Saudi defense ministry.

No injuries were reported. According to Fox News, no one was inside the embassy at the time of the incident.

The attack, which involved two drones, is part of Iran’s retaliatory actions in the region.

Saudi air defenses intercepted four drones targeting Riyadh’s diplomatic quarter. Following the incident, the U.S. Embassy has advised American citizens in Jeddah, Riyadh, and Dhahran to shelter in place, reported the AFP news agency.

U.S. President Donald Trump told a NewsNation journalist that the world will soon learn what the U.S. Response to the attack will be, according to journalist Kellie Meyer on X.

New explosions were heard in Riyadh early Tuesday, according to an AFP journalist and residents.

The explosions were audible in central Riyadh, with one resident reporting a blast that “shook the whole house.”

IDF Reports Striking Hezbollah Targets in Beirut

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) stated on Telegram that it is attacking Hezbollah command centers and weapons storage facilities in Beirut, according to AFP reporting late Monday night.

Earlier Monday, the IDF issued evacuation warnings for residents of southern Beirut. The IDF also claimed to have killed Hezbollah’s intelligence chief, Hussein Makled, during Monday’s strikes in Beirut, Lebanon.

AI-Manar, a TV station affiliated with Hezbollah, reported that one of its offices in South Beirut was hit.

TV Station in Tehran Targeted

Iran’s state TV, IRIB, also reported two explosions near its headquarters in Tehran on Tuesday.

Despite the explosions, the station continues broadcasting as usual during the Israeli-American offensive, it stated on Telegram.

The TV station is located in the Evin district, which is the same area as Evin Prison.

The IDF stated that it had attacked the area of IRIB.

They claim the center was recently used by Iranian regime forces to promote military activities under the guise of civilian operations.

“Activities at the center were carried out and directed by Iran’s Revolutionary Guard. Over the years, Iranian broadcasting has called for the destruction of the State of Israel and the use of nuclear weapons. It has directly contributed to the suppression of the Iranian population,” the IDF added.

The IDF had previously warned it would attack the area and issued evacuation notices to residents near the broadcaster.

Four powerful explosions were heard and felt by AFP journalists after midnight in Tehran.
