A public conference addressing the benefits, safety, and misinformation surrounding vaccination will be held on Thursday, February 5, at 6:30 p.m. The event aims to provide clarity on a topic central to public health and disease prevention.

The conference, part of a series titled “Health Issues in Focus,” will feature presentations and discussion led by three experts: Professor Mathieu Molimard, a pulmonologist and pharmacologist specializing in combating health misinformation; Professor Jean-Louis Koeck, an expert in medical biology and vaccination, associated with MesVaccins.net; and Professor Simone Mathoulin-Pelissier, a professor of public health and epidemiology.

Professor Molimard’s work focuses on identifying and countering false narratives about health, while Professor Koeck brings extensive knowledge of vaccine science and the MesVaccins.net platform. Professor Mathoulin-Pelissier will contribute her expertise in understanding disease patterns and public health interventions.

The event is organized by the regional health agency and is open to the public, offering a valuable opportunity to learn from leading experts and gain a deeper understanding of vaccination.
