Action movie icon Jean-Claude Van Damme has issued a surprising challenge to Jake Paul, inviting the younger star to a boxing match. The offer came in a recent Instagram video, where Van Damme, 63, called out Paul, who is 29 years old, highlighting the significant age gap between the two.

Van Damme, known for his incredible kicking ability and flexibility and a former karate and kickboxing competitor with a second-dan black belt in taekwondo, laid out some ground rules for the potential bout. “I promise you I will not kick below the belt, so I will not break your knees and ankles,” he stated.
The martial arts star likewise stipulated that elbows wouldn’t be allowed and that Paul could choose the location for the match. “It can be in Macau, Las Vegas, the Middle East, Paris, the UK. Actually, Macau would be good. Or Dubai, Saudi Arabia, anything. You pick the place, and I will donate 15 percent of my winnings to charity… I won’t stop until you say yes. What do you have to lose? You’re a good-looking guy. I don’t drive a Ferrari, I don’t use perfume. I’m just an average guy who simply wants to kick your ass. I say this with respect, but you will sleep. It would be good to clash around Christmas time, I hope you will be available.”
The challenge comes as Paul continues to attract attention from fellow celebrities. Currently, Paul’s partner is competing in the Winter Olympics, where she recently secured a gold medal. It remains to be seen if Jake Paul will accept Van Damme’s offer.
