Paderborn coach Ralf Kattemann praised his goalkeeper, saying, “He saved our bacon today.” Seimen left the Bochum side frustrated with his performance.
Forward Philipp Hofmann (32) told reporters after the match, “I congratulated him on his performance after the final whistle.” Gerrit Holtmann (30) was still amazed by Seimen’s world-class performance after the game, stating, “I’ll remember that name. That’s no bold prediction. Seimen is already earmarked as the future number one at VfB Stuttgart. The talented keeper is expected to replace Bayern Munich loanee Alexander Nübel (29) in goal next summer. Stuttgart’s current number one, Nübel, agrees. The goalkeeper recently said of Seimen, “He’s doing a phenomenal job. He got off to a good start in professional football in the third division and is continuing that in the second division. That’s remarkably strong.” The VfB faithful can already look forward to what is shaping up to be one of Germany’s biggest goalkeeping prospects.
