Kitchen appliances from the 1980s and 90s, once symbols of modernity in Polish homes, are now attracting significant interest from collectors and commanding impressive prices.

The Predom brand food grill, a staple in many households, is now highly sought after at auction. Its durability contributes to its continued demand, alongside other appliances from the era such as the Frania washing machine and the Prodiż.

A working Predom Zelmer vacuum cleaner can now fetch upwards of 300 zł, even as coffee grinders are valued at approximately 165 zł each. Radios and tape recorders are as well generating collector interest.

Treasures from the Polish People’s Republic

Toys from the 1980s, including figures from the “Star Wars” series, are achieving remarkable prices. A miniature Darth Vader figure is currently worth around 1700 zł, and a Luke Skywalker figure approximately 1000 zł. These models are considered collector’s items from the era of the original trilogy.

Collectible finds, such as figures from E.T. For 300 zł and a “Zezol” bear for 240 zł, continue to be popular. This trend highlights the growing nostalgia for items from this period and their potential as alternative investments.
