Vivo is preparing to unveil its S50 series in China within hours, and full specifications for the upcoming smartphones have already surfaced on the website of China Telecom. The leak provides a detailed look at what to expect from the new lineup.
The standard vivo S50 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, paired with either 12GB or 16GB of RAM, and 256GB or 512GB of storage. The device will run OriginOS 16, built on top of Android 16, and pack a substantial 6500mAh battery. This combination suggests a focus on both performance and extended battery life, increasingly important features for modern smartphone users.
The S50 will feature a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1.5K (2750 x 1260 pixels).

The rear camera system will consist of a 50MP main lens, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens. The front-facing camera is also a 50MP sensor.
Alongside the standard S50, Vivo will also release the S50 Pro mini. The Pro mini will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset and will feature a more compact 6.31-inch display. The introduction of a “mini” version suggests Vivo is targeting consumers who prefer smaller, more pocketable devices.
