Former Hungarian television personality Tvrtko Vujity is garnering attention once again, though this time not for his on-screen work. Vujity, who relocated to Hawaii with his family in 2020, is publicly celebrating the professional achievements of his wife, Gyöngyi Zsolnay, a youth coach now recognized among the top 28 in the United States by the Positive Coaching Alliance. The announcement highlights a shift in focus for Vujity, who now appears content to support his wife’s career while embracing a more private life abroad.

Tvrtko Vujity is a familiar face to many, having been one of Hungary’s most prominent television personalities for years.

Throughout his career, Vujity successfully hosted several programs before deciding in 2020 to prioritize his family. He and his wife relocated to Hawaii. While he still occasionally accepts appearances when visiting Hungary, he now seeks a more private life in the United States, where he’s recognized not as a celebrity, but for his wife, Gyöngyi, whom he recently celebrated on social media.

“Gyöngyi Zsolnay is among the top 28 youth coaches in the United States. The Positive Coaching Alliance, a leading youth sports organization with a large following and partnerships with major brands and news agencies, announced yesterday that Zsolnay was among the hundreds of nominees to receive the highest ratings in the best coach competition. The final round will be held in San Francisco at the end of March, with a formal ceremony and coverage from the American press,” Vujity wrote in a post, adding that his wife was congratulated with a bouquet of 27 red roses.

The former television host couldn’t be prouder, and frequently praises his partner and the mother of his children. He shared that he’s been closely following her work for some time, and is trying to learn the secret to her success – which, he jokes, is her herself.

Vujity Tvrtko last visited Hungary two months ago as a guest on the program “Palikék világa,” where he explained that he isn’t recognized as a celebrity there.

In fact, for a long time, many simply referred to him as “Gyöngyi’s husband.” He doesn’t mind at all, and is genuinely happy to not be the center of attention.

On February 23rd, the next presentation of the Femina Club will feature another exciting conversation about what foods tell us about who we are, how we love, and what we pass on around the table. Dr. Liza Lukács will approach the emotions, habits, and family patterns behind eating from a psychological perspective, while Ferenc Rákóczi will do so from a gastronomic one. Why do we reach for certain foods when we need comfort? Why does eating often become a way to relieve stress or a tool for self-control?
