Maxi López Reveals ‘Strong’ Boundaries in New Comedy Series with Ex Wanda Nara
Maxi López is opening up about the boundaries he set while filming an unconventional new project with his ex-wife, Wanda Nara. In a revelation shared on April 29, 2026, the former footballer admitted that while the duo has successfully rebuilt their relationship, some parts of their shared history were simply too intense for the screen.
The project, a “vertical series” produced for Telefe, blends the couple’s real-life experiences with a scripted, comedic narrative. López also confirmed a few key details regarding the series and his personal life, including the inclusion of the China Suárez in the production and his own upcoming move to Argentina.
This creative partnership marks a dramatic evolution for the former couple, who spent years defined by public conflict. López previously admitted that there was a period when he could not stand Nara, describing a time when the two were “very far, on completely different planets.” Speaking with Martín Cirio on March 4, 2026, López explained that bridging that gap required a conscious effort, stating, “I put pride aside.” He attributed the reconciliation to maturity, the passage of time, and, most importantly, the well-being of their children.
