The Institute for Work & Health (IWH) has released the French version of its report, “Work & Health 2040: Anticipating changes impacting the futures of occupational health and safety,” a forward-looking analysis exploring the major transformations likely to influence worker health and safety in the coming decades. The report was officially published in February 2026.
The report highlights:
- the rapid transformations that will redefine work environments by 2040;
- the issues and opportunities related to the evolution of technologies, work organization, and the workforce;
- the issues and opportunities related to the evolution of technologies, work organization, and the workforce;
This work is the product of a global collaboration led by the Institute for Work & Health and Creative Futures Studio inc. Bertrand Galy, Director of Operations of the IRSST’s research service, participated in this prospective scanning exercise.
Published in February 2026, the report is now available in French thanks to collaboration with the IRSST, which coordinated the translation.
