Xiaomi initially announced the Truclean W30 Pro vacuum cleaner over the summer, but did not disclose availability or pricing details at the time. Now, the 2-in-1 vacuum and mop is available for purchase for €299.
Increased Suction Power and a Solution for Hair Tangling
The Xiaomi Truclean W30 Pro features an 18,000 Pa motor powering a brush head capable of 450 rotations per minute. According to Xiaomi, this new model delivers a 20% increase in suction power compared to previous generations.
For versatile cleaning, the vacuum offers a standard mode for everyday use and a water absorption mode to quickly remove spills. Users can also activate a boosted suction function by holding down the mode button for 1.5 seconds, maximizing cleaning performance and reducing session time.
The Truclean W30 Pro also addresses the common issue of hair tangling with a four-stage hair management system designed to handle up to 3,000 strands of long hair.
When in mopping mode, the device utilizes five features to minimize streaking and maximize cleaning: controlled water distribution, high-density roller fibers with 12% improved absorption, a 322% increase in dirty water collection, uniform water removal via a metal scraper, and wider suction coverage.
Hot Air Self-Cleaning System
A key feature of the Truclean W30 Pro is its self-cleaning system, which immerses and washes the roller brush with hot water. The brush then rotates bidirectionally and is dried with hot air at 80ºC.
The cleaning process continues with a quick 15-minute drying cycle, followed by a heating plate at 100ºC to restore the roller brush’s texture. This automated system aims to simplify maintenance and ensure optimal hygiene.
A 4,000 mAh battery provides up to 40 minutes of continuous cleaning. The device also includes a 1,000 ml clean water tank and a 700 ml dirty water tank. The introduction of automated cleaning features in vacuums reflects a growing trend toward convenience and hygiene in home appliances.
