Lithuanian singer Lion Ceccah is set to represent his country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 with his entry “Sólo quiero más.” The artist, born Tomas Alenčikas, confirmed his participation amid growing anticipation for the international competition.

In a recent interview on the Delfi TV program “Kasdienybės herojai,” journalist Gerda Žemaitė revealed new personal details about Lion Ceccah’s life. She shared that the performer is currently in a relationship with someone younger, though she noted the age difference is not as significant as that of his friend Oksana Pikul’s partner.

Žemaitė also discussed Lion Ceccah’s openness about past relationships, including two divorces, and reflected on how audiences often attribute career success to former partners. “Many people thought I built this career through my ex-husband,” she quoted him as saying during the segment.

The conversation touched on broader themes of personal responsibility and care, particularly referencing Lion Ceccah’s experience living with a mother who has dementia. “A person with dementia starts to not know where they are. It’s emotionally difficult. But who else will take care of her?” he asked, highlighting the familial challenges he navigates alongside his rising music career.

Lion Ceccah, known for his extravagant stage presence as a drag artist, continues to balance his public persona with private life realities. His upcoming Eurovision appearance marks another milestone in a career that began in 2011 and has seen him evolve from his earlier stage name, Alen Chicco, to the prominent figure he is today in Lithuania’s music and performance scenes.

The national selection for Eurovision 2026 will air Mondays at 9 p.m. On Delfi TV and via the Delfi portal, giving audiences a front-row look at the artist’s journey to the Vienna stage.
