The Olympic Winter Games are underway, with a busy Monday, February 16, 2026, schedule featuring several medal opportunities for Switzerland. The games, officially known as the 25th Winter Olympics – Milano Cortina 2026 – are being held across four regions and seven locations in Northern Italy.
Competition begins at 9:05 AM with Curling, as the Swiss men’s team takes on Sweden in Round Robin play. Nordic Combined events will follow starting at 10:00 AM. Freestyle Skiing action heats up at 10:45 AM with the Women’s Aerials qualification round.
The afternoon brings a crucial matchup in Men’s Ice Hockey, with Switzerland facing Italy in the Quarterfinal Playoffs at 12:10 PM. Snowboard fans can catch the Women’s Slopestyle final at 1:00 PM, followed by the Men’s Aerials qualification round at 1:30 PM, featuring Swiss athletes Noé Roth and Pirmin Werner.
Curling continues at 2:05 PM with a Round Robin contest between South Korea and the Swiss women’s team. The Men’s 4×7.5km Biathlon Relay, featuring Joscha Burkhalter, Jeremy Finello, Niklas Hartweg and Sebastian Stalder, is set for 2:30 PM. Shortly after, at 3:24 PM, the Team Pursuit in Speed Skating will take place.
As the evening progresses, the spotlight shifts to the ice. Livia Kaiser and Kimmy Repond will compete in the Women’s Figure Skating Individual Short Program at 6:45 PM. Bob events secure underway at 7:00 PM with the Men’s Monobob, featuring Cédric Follador/Luca Rolli, Timo Rohner/Tim Annen, and Michael Vogt/Amadou Ndiaye. Another Curling match, between Germany and Switzerland, is scheduled for 7:05 PM.
Rounding out the day’s events is the Men’s Freestyle Skiing Large Air final at 7:30 PM.
