Yamaha has announced updates to the Yamaha Lander 250 for the Brazilian market. The Lander 250 is a versatile trail bike powered by a 249 cc, air-cooled, SOHC single-cylinder engine that delivers 21 horsepower at 8000 rpm, with peak torque of 20.5 Nm at 6500 rpm. The motorcycle features a five-speed transmission.

The 2026 version of the Yamaha XTZ 250 (Lander 250) sold in Brazil is highlighted by a new color option, Atacama Brown, which can be paired with red, black, or orange graphics. Existing color schemes – Titanium Grey, Racing Blue, and Amazon Green – will also be available.

The motorcycle’s instrument panel is an LCD screen with Bluetooth connectivity via the Yamaha Y-Connect app, offering features such as call and message notifications, and parking location services.

The front fork offers 220 mm of travel, even as the rear monoshock provides 204 mm of travel. Braking is provided by a 245 mm front disc brake and a 203 mm rear disc brake, supported by a single-channel ABS system. The wheels are spoked, fitted with tires measuring 80/90-21 in the front and 120/80-18 in the rear.

In Brazil, the Yamaha XTZ250 (Lander 250), in its 2026 iteration, is priced at 29,290 reais (approximately 4,750 euros). The company indicated the model will be marketed in other countries in Latin America and Asia, but will not be released in Europe.
