Teh stakes escalated on the latest installment of *Desafío del Siglo XXI* as competitors faced a demanding obstacle course in the Black Box [[1]]. The Colombian reality competition series, now in its 21st season, saw the elimination of Kathe and Roldán following a challenging test of strength, agility, and teamwork. This elimination follows the recent introduction of new competitors,the “Neos,” further intensifying the competition for the grand prize.
A dramatic elimination unfolded on the latest episode of Desafío del Siglo XXI, as Kathe and Roldán were sent home after a grueling challenge in the Black Box. The competition, currently featuring teams of three, recently welcomed new competitors known as Neos, raising the stakes for all involved.

How the Challenge Played Out
The challenge began with the men starting from the upper level of the Black Box. They had to unravel an anchor from a log, throw it to the first level, and hook a ladder to descend.
Using the ladder, the competitors then navigated a low crawl under netting. Once through, they secured the ladder for a descent to the second level, where they had to transport a raft across a rope until it was released.
Returning to the starting line with the raft, they used it to free an unstable table, allowing their female teammates to descend with the aid of the ladder.
On the first floor, the women crossed the netting and a hanging bridge. Reaching the horizontal tunnel, they had to remove sacks and stones until they found a chest. With the chest in hand, they returned to the initial part of the Black Box.
Each pair then had to extract 10 sandbags from the chest. Each teammate launched five bags, attempting to land them on the unstable table their partner was holding, without letting any fall.
The first three duos to successfully complete the task would continue in the competition.
Who Advanced and Who Said Goodbye
Kevyn and Sofía were the first to complete the circuit, finishing with a significant lead. Zambrano and Miryan secured second place, followed closely by Cristian and Mencho in third.
Kathe and Roldán were ultimately eliminated, losing crucial seconds due to two mistakes that cost them their place in the competition.
