You can’t be consistent.” Guillermo Mariotto said, “Cute but we are in the ninth episode, you slipped, it was approximate.” Total: 22 points.

  • First Performance: Fabio Fognini with Giada Lini

    The competition kicked off with Fabio Fognini with Giada Lini. The pair danced to “It’s My Life.” At the end of the freestyle, the audience gave a standing ovation and Rossella Erra was enthusiastic about Fognini. Carolyn Smith announced she removed the paddle with the number 10 and the number 9, and commented, “Certain moments you really entered the character, some points still to work on, at one point you lost your balance but overall I liked it a lot.”

    A special guest of the episode was the “fake Milly,” actress and comedian Giulia Vecchio, who flawlessly reproduces the mannerisms, style, and voice of Milly Carlucci. The “fake Milly” went to the floor as a “Ballerina for one night” of the ninth episode.

    It was then the turn of Martina Colombari with Luca Favilla. The former Miss Italy spoke about her pregnancy and the birth of her son Achille, born from her love story with Billy Costacurta, the former Milan footballer she married in 2004. The pair danced to Giorgia’s “Di sole e d’azzurro.” Ivan Zazzaroni said, “You are growing a lot, you are the number 1 danger for those who are candidates to win,” and Carolyn Smith added, “Great strides.”

    Finally, Paolo Belli with Anastasia Kuzmina came to close out the first part of the competition.
