Apple has unveiled the new MacBook Neo, designed for users seeking a stylish and versatile laptop.
The company states this device is a successor to the 12-inch laptops produced between 2015 and 2019, but features a more modern design and specifications tailored to a broad user base, particularly students and office workers who don’t require extreme performance capabilities.
The MacBook Neo boasts an elegant aluminum chassis with dimensions of (1.27/20.6/29.7) cm and a lightweight of 1.23 kg. Stylistically, the device closely resembles current MacBook Air and MacBook Pro models with its clear, rectangular lines, and features relatively wide black bezels around the display.
The MacBook Neo is equipped with the smallest screen of all current Apple laptop models, measuring 13 inches – 0.6 inches smaller than the MacBook Air. The IPS display offers a resolution of (2408/1506) pixels, with a brightness of approximately 500 nits.
The device is powered by the A18 Pro processor, the same chip found in the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max, and includes 8GB of RAM and 256/512GB of internal storage. Some versions also include a Touch ID fingerprint sensor integrated into the keyboard.
