The Xiaomi Redmi Buds 8 Pro will launch globally this week, with availability starting February 28, 2026.
These premium earbuds promise superior noise cancellation, up to 55dB of noise reduction, and 8 hours of battery life on a single charge.
The Redmi Buds 8 Pro feature Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity, supporting SBC, AAC, and LDAC codecs for high-quality audio streaming, along with Bluetooth LE for efficient power use.
Additional features include multipoint connectivity, Dolby Atmos spatial audio with head tracking, and Google Fast Pair for seamless device pairing.
The earbuds come in three color options: Glacier Blue, Cloud White, and Obsidian Black, and include three pairs of silicone ear tips in the package.
The charging case is rounded with a front-panel battery level indicator, though wireless charging is not supported—users must charge via USB-C.
Xiaomi states the active noise cancellation is 20% more effective than that of the previous Redmi Buds 6 Pro model.
Following their initial release in Southeast Asia, the Redmi Buds 8 Pro are now rolling out to European and global markets.
This launch comes just over one year after the introduction of the Redmi Buds 6 Pro, marking Xiaomi’s annual update to its mid-to-high-tier TWS earbud lineup.
The release underscores Xiaomi’s continued focus on delivering premium audio features at accessible price points in the competitive true wireless earbuds market.
