According to the latest updates, rain is currently hammering 76 provinces, covering an average of 60% of the affected areas. The agency has released several warnings to keep the public vigilant, including Announcement No. 5 regarding the general atmospheric instability across the region.
The severity of the current system is detailed in Warning No. 6, which forecasts widespread rain affecting Bangkok, its surrounding suburbs, and 67 other provinces. In a separate alert, residents in 65 provinces have been urged to prepare for the impact of heavy summer storms.
Officials are advising the public to maintain a high level of caution and monitor weather updates through May 10.
