Gondíková has recently been spotted incorporating classic pieces – including wide-leg trousers and tailored coats – back into her wardrobe, a shift she attributes to both comfort and influence from her daughter’s trends. The actress details her evolving fashion choices, and favorite colors, in a recent interview.
At 52, Adéla Gondíková is embracing both comfort and her signature flair. The actress, known for previously favoring more athletic styles, has recently shifted towards a more elegant aesthetic. She’s been spotted in wide-leg trousers and has reintroduced classic coats into her wardrobe, pieces she’d previously retired.
Embracing Wide-Leg Trousers
Currently, Gondíková favors trousers in her everyday outfits, opting for them over dresses when not attending major events. She’s particularly drawn to wide-leg styles, which have become a go-to piece for her.
“I like to pair trousers with a t-shirt, a blouse, and an oversized blazer, which I sometimes swap with my daughter,” Gondíková shared, adding that she and her daughter don’t share clothes as much anymore, as she feels she’s fallen behind on current trends.
Gondíková has also embraced high-waisted trousers, a style she previously resisted. “I experienced low-rise pants in the eighties, and I wore hipsters pretty much until recently. I happened to try on high-waisted trousers during a photoshoot and discovered how comfortable they are, and suddenly they don’t pull on my back. Plus, my daughter tells me this cut looks youthful,” the actress explained, noting she’s also returned to wearing elegant coats.
“I went through a long period where I only wore sporty jackets and watches, until one costume designer told me not to wear mountain jackets in the city. So, I have classic women’s coats back in my wardrobe. My latest addition is a herringbone model,” Gondíková said.
Dark Blue is My Color
Gondíková’s wardrobe features pieces in black, gray, but especially dark blue, which has been a favorite color of hers for years. She’s also embraced current trends like burgundy and brown.
“Unfortunately, I threw out everything brown from my wardrobe years ago, so now I’m buying everything new. So I have a brown coat, handbag and shoes,” Gondíková added, noting she enjoys collaborating with Czech designers like Dominika Sedláčková, Zuzana Straková and Martina Pipková Loudová.
“I’ve been working with Adéla Gondíková for more than four years. She’s a woman with a beautiful figure, exceptional energy and natural elegance, so almost everything looks good on her. But she looks best in clean lines, bold colors and pieces that emphasize her slender silhouette and long legs. I enjoy that she’s not afraid of colors or interesting materials.
