Apple TV+ and Peacock Announce New Streaming Bundle Starting at $14.99

Apple TV+ and Peacock will launch a bundled streaming service starting Monday, offering customers savings of over 30% compared to subscribing to each service individually.

The new offering will be available in two tiers: a plan combining Apple TV+ (ad-free) with Peacock Premium (ad-supported) for $14.99 per month, and a plan pairing Apple TV+ with Peacock Premium Plus (ad-free) for $19.99 monthly. This move comes as streaming services increasingly look to bundling to attract and retain subscribers in a competitive market. Apple One subscribers with Family or Premier tiers will receive an additional 35% discount on the bundle.

NBCUniversal and Apple also announced a reciprocal content sharing agreement, allowing Peacock subscribers free access to select episodes of Apple TV+ shows like Silo and Palm Royale, while Apple TV+ users will gain access to episodes of Peacock series including Law & Order and Bel-Air. This cross-promotion aims to ease the challenges consumers face navigating numerous streaming platforms, a trend highlighted in recent reports from Nielsen.

“There is no more perfect combination of entertainment than the Apple TV and Peacock Bundle, with our complementary content portfolios featuring the best shows, movies, sports and live events,” said Matt Strauss, Chairman, NBCUniversal Media Group. Oliver Schusser, Apple’s vice president of Apple TV, Apple Music, Sports, and Beats, added that the bundle “unites the best of entertainment in a simple and seamless experience.” The partnership with Apple follows similar distribution deals NBCUniversal has made with Amazon and Google/YouTube, and arrives ahead of the upcoming NBA season, with games exclusively available on Peacock. Officials stated the bundle is designed to broaden the reach of Peacock and offer a streamlined experience for consumers.
