The Baltic retailer, Apranga Group, saw its fourth-quarter retail turnover climb to €105.9 million, a 3.0% increase year-over-year, according to company filings. This performance provides a snapshot of consumer spending trends in the region.
Breaking down the regional performance, Apranga Group reported a 3.3% increase in retail turnover in Lithuania during the fourth quarter. Latvia experienced a stronger growth of 4.8%, while Estonia saw a slight decrease of 1.7% compared to the same period last year.
For the full year, Apranga Group’s unaudited retail turnover reached €371.7 million, representing a 4.9% increase over the previous year. The company’s annual results reflect a generally positive consumer environment across its key markets.
In 2024, Apranga Group’s retail turnover in Lithuania totaled €225.4 million, a 6.5% increase year-over-year. Latvia contributed €95.2 million to the total, with a 4.9% increase, while Estonia generated €51.0 million, a decrease of 1.3% compared to the prior year.
Throughout 2024, Apranga Group expanded its retail network, opening four new stores and renovating eight, including four expansions. The company also closed four locations as part of its ongoing network optimization strategy.
As of the end of the reporting period, Apranga Group operates a chain of 171 stores – 103 in Lithuania, 44 in Latvia, and 24 in Estonia – totaling 92,700 square meters of retail space, a 0.8% increase from the previous year.
