ASUS Launches ROG GR70 Gaming Mini PC with AMD Ryzen 9 and RTX 5070

ASUS has introduced the ROG GR70, a new gaming mini PC powered by an AMD Ryzen 9 processor. The compact device aims to deliver desktop-class performance in a portable form factor, catering to gamers and professionals seeking a powerful yet space-saving solution. This launch underscores the growing trend of high-performance computing being packed into increasingly smaller designs.

The ROG GR70 will be available with up to an AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX3D CPU and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU. According to specifications, the system also supports NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop GPUs. The processor utilizes the Zen 5 architecture, featuring 16 cores and 32 threads, and incorporates AMD’s second-generation 3D V-Cache technology for improved data access and efficiency.

Memory options include up to 96GB of dual-channel DDR5-5600 SO-DIMM, with a maximum capacity of 48GB per slot. Storage options include a 1TB M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD, with support for up to 2TB M.2 2280 NVMe PCIe 4.0 x4 SSDs or 1TB to 2TB M.2 2280 NVMe PCIe 5.0 x4 SSDs.

Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. The ROG GR70 also offers a comprehensive selection of ports, including USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C and Type-A, HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 2.1, and a 2.5G RJ45 LAN port. The system supports up to five displays simultaneously.

Cooling is handled by a triple-fan QuietFlow system designed to maintain low temperatures and quiet operation during intensive gaming sessions.
