Bára Kodetová a Pavel Šporcl: Život v bungalovu s úžasnou zahradou v Říčanech

Czech actress Bára Kodetová and her husband, violinist Pavel Šporcl, are putting their luxurious bungalow in Říčany up for sale after seven years of ownership. The property, nestled on nearly 3,000 square meters of land surrounded by mature greenery, has seen its value nearly double since they purchased it for just under 25 million Czech koruna. According to the couple, the home now lists for 54 million koruna, reflecting strong market growth in the area.

Šporcl shared that they’ve received interest from potential buyers, noting the home’s enduring appeal. “We’ve had interest,” he said, underscoring the property’s continued desirability. The bungalow features a wellness zone and a swimming pool with a counter-current system, complemented by a heat pump that provides heating and hot water throughout the residence.

Real estate expert Petr Janovský of Broker Consulting affirmed that the asking price remains fair, stating, “It’s still quite reasonable when you consider what you get.” He added that, despite the significant appreciation, the property offers strong value for its size and amenities.

The decision to sell follows a personal pattern the couple has maintained over the years: seven years in Točné, seven in Holešovice, and now seven in Říčany. “It’s time to move on,” Šporcl remarked, explaining that the shift is driven by their family’s evolving needs, particularly as their three daughters grow older. Their youngest, 15-year-old Sophia Šporclová, is pursuing acting studies at a conservatory in Brno, though Prague remains the family’s central hub.

Despite online speculation about marital strain, both Šporcl and Kodetová have emphasized that their relationship remains stable and harmonious. They dismissed rumors of a split, affirming that the move is purely about embracing the next chapter.

Their Říčany home has long served as a sanctuary, especially Kodetová’s private study, which she describes as a space filled with books, family photographs, and personal mementos. “Here’s where I am,” she said in a prior interview. “This is what I want, what pleases me, and what I enjoy doing.” The room, lined with shelves stretching near the ceiling, has been a creative haven where she writes, reflects, and finds clarity.

Outside, the garden offers a peaceful retreat, designed for slowing down and reconnecting with nature. Lush vegetation and quiet seating areas invite relaxation, reinforcing the home’s role as a balance between artistic inspiration and family life.

As they prepare to abandon the property that has housed them for nearly a decade, Kodetová and Šporcl carry with them not just memories, but a deep connection to the space that has supported their personal and artistic journeys.
