According to reports, Akalay was pulled over during a routine traffic check in the Beşiktaş district on October 25th. Police administered a breathalyzer test, which registered a blood alcohol content of 1.12 promille – exceeding the legal limit.
As a result, authorities suspended Akalay’s driver’s license and issued a fine.
