Bre Tiesi Blocks Nick Cannon From ‘Selling Sunset’ Appearance

Bre Tiesi has firmly stated she will not allow her partner, Nick Cannon, to appear on the Netflix reality series Selling Sunset, citing a lack of respect shown to him in the past.

The celebrity realtor explained to Us Weekly that she “would never subject [Nick] to that,” adding, “I will never subject him to a show that did not show him an ounce of respect or grace.” Tiesi emphasized her unwillingness even if offered a substantial sum, stating, “I don’t care if they said they’d give him $100 million. I would say, ‘Not a f***ing chance in hell.’”

Tiesi’s strong stance stems from past experiences defending Cannon against criticism from her Oppenheim Group colleagues regarding their relationship and co-parenting, particularly given Cannon’s large family – he is father to 12 children with six different women. She initially lacked trust in the show’s production, but has since built a stronger relationship with them, allowing for more of her personal life to be featured. This decision highlights the power dynamics within reality television and a star’s ability to protect their partner’s image.

Despite Tiesi’s firm boundary, Cannon has reportedly expressed willingness to appear on the show if she desired, demonstrating his supportive nature. Tiesi also noted that producers have previously attempted to secure his participation. You can learn more about the show’s cast and history on the Netflix website.

Tiesi has indicated she will continue to be cautious about integrating her personal life into the show, prioritizing the protection of those she cares about.
