Chinese automotive giant BYD has announced its updated price list for Turkey, effective March 2026. The company is streamlining its offerings in the market, discontinuing sales of four models and significantly increasing the price of its SEALION 7 vehicle.
BYD Turkey Discontinues Four Models
As of March, the ATTO2, DOLPHIN, and SEAL U EV models have been removed from BYD’s Turkish sales roster. The more accessible version of the SEALION 7 is also no longer available. This move represents a significant simplification of the model range and a shift upwards in the overall price structure.
BYD did, however, announce a price reduction on its HAN model, while the ATTO3, SEAL, and TANG models remain at their current prices.
Sharp Price Increase for Sealion 7
The SEALION 7, which started at 2,489,000 TL in February, now begins at 4,190,000 TL following the removal of the lower-priced version. This represents an approximate 2 million TL increase in the model’s starting price. The price adjustment underscores the impact of model line simplification on consumer costs.
The SEALION 7, equipped with a 390 kW electric motor and a range exceeding 500 kilometers, is one of BYD’s strongest contenders in the electric SUV segment, boasting fast-charging capabilities and advanced battery technology.
BYD ATTO 3 Pricing
The ATTO3 remains on sale in March, starting at 2,249,000 TL. The model features a 150 kW electric motor and a 420-kilometer range, and is noted for its design details and rotating multimedia screen.
BYD Seal Pricing
The SEAL is priced starting at 2,429,000 TL and is positioned in the sedan segment. The top version accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds, appealing to buyers seeking a performance-oriented electric sedan.
BYD Han Receives Price Cut
BYD’s flagship sedan, the HAN, saw a price reduction in March, falling to 4,573,000 TL. This is the only price decrease announced by the company. The HAN features a 380 kW electric motor and a premium level of equipment.
BYD Tang Pricing
On the SUV side, the TANG maintains its starting price of 5,418,000 TL. With a 4×4 drivetrain and a range of up to 530 kilometers, it caters to the larger family SUV segment.
